The latest in the National Film Preservation Foundation's award-winning DVD series, will be released on March 3, 2009. The 2-disc box set features works by Stan Brakhage, Shirley Clarke, Hollis Frampton, Larry Gottheim, Marie Menken, Pat ONeil, Paul Sharits, and other filmmakers who pushed the boundaries of film as an art form. "Treasures IV" includes music contributed by John Zorn and a book of program notes, with a foreword by Martin Scorsese. It is the first anthology of the period available on DVD.
