Ingo Niermann, geboren 1969, ist Mitbegründer des Kollektivs Redesigndeutschland und Erfinder der kollektiven Begräbnisstätte "Die Große Pyramde."

Seit Längerem setzt sich der in Berlin lebende Autor Ingo Niermann (geboren 1969) mit dem Thema "Drill" auseinander. In diesem Notebook proklamiert er den selbstbestimmten Drill als eine neue gesellschaftliche Doktrin und gibt mehrere praktische Anleitungen. Drill könnte nach einer Ära der Öffnung und Übertretung vieler Grenzen der nächste Schritt sein: die Freiheit, sich selbst zu zwingen. Zu diesem Zweck kann man an vom Autor vorgeschlagenen Aktionen teilnehmen, etwa "Join he U.S. Army", bei der man sich als Nicht-Amerikaner der US-Armee andient, oder auch ein Jahr leben, als sei es das letzte. Die Krönung ist der Drill Palace, nach Vorbild von Cedric Price unrealisiertem Fun Palace, in dem man an Drills teilnehmen, Drills entwickeln oder ihnen als Zuschauer beiwohnen kann.

For quite some time, the Berlin-based author Ingo Niermann (born 1969) has dealt with the notion of drill. In this notebook, he proclaims the self-determined drill as a new societal doctrine and gives several practical instructions. After an era of the opening and transgression of numerous borders, drill could be the next step: the freedom to coerce oneself. For this purpose, one can participate in actions proposed by the author, such as Join the U.S. Army, where non-Americans can offer their services to the U.S. Army; or live a year as if it were the last. The culmination is the Drill Palace, modeled after Cedric Price s unrealized Fun Palace, where one participates in drills, develops drills, or witnesses them as a spectator.
