Conceptual art veteran John Baldessari began making prints in the mid-1970s, and placed printmaking at the centre of his appropriative practice, in which found photographs of people are amended with colourful dots that blot out the heads, redirecting the viewers attention towards marginal details. This retrospective from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his family foundation is a survey of Baldessaris four-decade printmaking career.
