With over 400 sculptures, this volume documents the entire plastic work of a major protagonist of contemporary art. Alongside painting, sculpture is a fundamental part of the work of Paladino, who is considered one of the most well-known representatives of the Transavanguardia. Theorized in 1980 by Achille Bonito Oliva, this movement immediately stood out as one of the most significant tendencies of Post-modernism, challenging the artistic experimentalism of previous decades and advocating a return to more traditional expressive practices. The cataloguing is divided into sections: individual sculptures, installations, relationship between sculpture and architecture and project work in urban spaces.
