Hans-Michael Koetzle, Jahrgang 1935, lebt als freier Publizist, Fachjournalist und Ausstellungskurator in München. Er ist Chefredakteur der international prämierten Zeitschrift Leica-World sowie regelmäßiger Mitarbeiter u. a. bei European Photography und Photo Technik International. Bekannt ist er durch seine vielen Bücher und Artikel zur Ästhetik und Geschichte der Fotografie und pflegt Kontakte zu den großen Fotografen und Agenturen im In- und Ausland.

Blackout in New York. For one night, Burri follows the events, with eight rolls of 35mm film. Without a flash. Using only the scarcely available light. Burris photo series is not a report in the traditional sense. More a meditation on light, or rather the lack of it.
