The book features elaborate documentation of the FREE SOL LEWITT project, produced at the invitation of the Van Abbemuseum by Danish artist collective SUPERFLEX. SUPERFLEX organised the reproduction of an artwork by the American artist Sol LeWitt. A metal workshop was created in the Van Abbemuseum where copies were produced and distributed for free to the public. The copied work is "Untitled (wall structure)", 1972 and was acquired by the Van Abbemuseum in 1977.
